We are a small but enthusiastic group of literature lovers which meets once a month to read and enjoy a selection of favourite or “discovered” extracts on a chosen theme. These we tend to interpret in a very broad and lateral way.
There is always plenty of conversation and discussion arising from the items read at not too deep and intellectual a level. There is a wide range of material and you can usually depend on there being a fair amount of humorous content as well as the unfamiliar and thought provoking.
