Snowshill Manor is a National Trust Manor House with Gardens in the Cotswolds, packed with extraordinary treasures collected by Charles Wade over his lifetime. There is an N.T. shop and tearooms. A buggy is available for people who may wish to use it. Entrance fee for non NT members is £11.50.
This will be followed by a visit to Stow On The Wold, an old town rich in history set high in the Cotswolds. It has honey coloured cottages, tea rooms, boutiques etc.
The trip cost will be £12 for the coach hire only.
Outings are initially limited to Maidenhead U3A members only. If insufficient support is forthcoming, trips will be advertised to other U3A groups and/or friends of members who have booked.
The coach will leave Braywick Sports Area (A308) at 9.00 am and return around 6.00/6.30 pm. Remember there is now a £5 charge to park all day at this site.
