Kelmscott Manor is a limestone manor house in the Cotswold village of Kelmscott, near Lechlade. It dates from around 1570, with a late 17th-century wing, and is Grade I listed. .It is probably the most evocative of all the houses associated with Morris and contains an outstanding collection of the possessions and works of Morris, his family and his Arts & Crafts associates, including furniture, original textiles, pictures, carpets, ceramics and metalwork. We are lucky to have this opportunity to visit the manor, as thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund for maintenance etc. the manor is closed for 2020.

The day will take the form of lectures and a guided tour of the house, garden and the village.
The plenary and introductory speaker will be Dr. Kathy Haslam, curator and specialist in Morris and the Arts & Crafts Movement. She has held curatorial posts at many prestigious museums before she took up her post at Kelmscott.
