Poland – Its Language, Culture & History

By | 03/03/2020

Polish may not be the most universal (nor the easiest) European language, but the popularity of Poland as a travel destination is growing and Polish heritage is strong (who hasn’t heard of these famous Poles – Chopin, Marie Curie & John Paul II?).

The purpose of the group could be to practice/learn some Polish language, perhaps to explore/remind ourselves/re-learn of places of interest, historical facts, famous people, traditions as well as share some memories and experiences. Perhaps even try some Polish food – pierogi are just as delicious as tortellini (or maybe even more so).

At present, my availability is limited to Monday and Wednesday afternoons. If you would be interested in such a group please contact me, Sophie.
